Résumé and selected portfolio by Rich Dellinger
Welcome to my online portfolio. Here you will find a sample of the graphic design work I've done over the past several years. Much of my recent work for Apple and Palm is under NDA, and not included here.
I've been designing icons since about 1991. Of course, technological progress has completely transformed this medium since I started. It's difficult to compare System 7 icon styles in the same context as current Mac OS X and Windows Vista icons, but you can try if you want.
aka user experience, human-computer interface, etc. I've spent much of my professional career dealing with the practical application of user/computer interaction concepts, and identifying areas where my favorite operating systems and applications can be improved. Currently, I'm doing operating system architecture and application design at Palm, Inc.
I really enjoy mixing design, pixel pushing, layout, user interaction, and coding. My most recent interests include css, coding for increased acessibility for alternative browsers like screen readers and handheld devices. I haven't quite gotten this site to function perfectly on both
mobile phone and
computer web browsers yet, but that's my next project!
This section is kind of an archive of older projects I've done, like posters, t-shirts, magazines, etc.
Selected photos, shot with digital and analog cameras.
This is a random collection of personal artwork, 3D renders and drawings that don't fit into the other categories.
